Cookie Settings

1. What this covers

"Cookies" here means anything stored on your device by this site — cookies themselves plus browser storage (localStorage and IndexedDB). This site uses only what it needs to work; there are no advertising or analytics trackers to opt out of.

2. What we store

Item	Where	Purpose	How long
Firebase authentication session	IndexedDB / localStorage	Keeps you signed in to the customer portal between visits. Required for login to work.	Until you sign out
`zmw_customer`	localStorage	Remembers that you're signed in so the navigation shows your account menu instead of "Sign in".	Until you sign out
reCAPTCHA	Google cookies	Risk analysis on the quote, breakdown, login and registration forms to block bots and spam. Set by Google when a form loads.	Set by Google

3. What we don't use

No advertising or remarketing cookies.
No analytics or behavioural tracking cookies.
No third-party social media trackers.

4. Managing your settings

Because everything we store is strictly necessary for the site to function, there is no optional-cookie switch. You can still control storage through your browser:

Block or clear cookies/site data in your browser's privacy settings — note that signing in to the portal will stop working while storage is blocked.
Sign out via your account menu — this clears the session and the sign-in flag immediately.
Private/incognito windows — nothing persists after you close the window.
